I wish that the third and fourth approaches had more “everyday” examples like the first two do.

Some examples of turning (everyday computer-related) disasters off:

  • Setting up a 24/7 automatic off-site backup for your machine
  • Working under a non-admin account to prevent malware infections
  • Choosing website passwords carefully
