Yeah, I remember that post and almost linked it but decided not to. I don't remember the sequel... so I'll go read that.

Of note, this post really doesn't care about probabilities and went out of its way to make things symmetrical. That isn't the point. I want to know how to act. When faced with an impossible problem, what do I do?
