I don't see why you think Alicorn is 'flaunting proteans' here, or why you think gender or proteans or flaunting have anything to do with the post at all.
Thanks for the interesting link! But I am pretty sure that comment was just a random collection of words and wasn't supposed to have anything to do with the post.
That was pretty much my conclusion, but I try to give new people some kind of benefit of the doubt.
