An FAI-enhanced World of Warcraft?
You can still interact with others even though you're in a vat.
Though as I commented elsewhere, chances are that FAI could fabricate more engaging companions for you than mere human beings.
And chances are that all this is inferior to being the ultimate wirehead.
That could be fairly awesome.
If it comes to that, I could see making the compromise.
