I feel that if the AI wanted to torture the simulations; let it. In my opinion, the copy of yourself is more a part of the AI than you. Although it may reenact decisions based on your previous courses of action, there is no substitute for destiny and the entire existence of the copy is based on the existence of the AI's. It isnt real, it never will be, and outside of the ARTIFICIAL REALITY, it never was. well, unless you created it yourself and made it omnipotent, in which case you deserve to be tortured for a thousand years.
