I have negative expectations for that. You can't say "I have worked so hard to reach my own goals that if you don't pay me you are rude". The would be costumers decide what reassurances they require, and if you can't meet their requirements, too bad for your business.
Is this actually more than one person?
If a person with money can't accept that they were mistaken when you explain it to them, you're probably better off trying to get money from someone else.
I think there are people with money who can understand that demanding particular proof is unreasonable, even if they did it.
