I think we can safely assume that Eliezer disagrees with Eliezer_2000 with regards to that statement.
Political discussion was discouraged, but I think we've probably all practiced rationality enough to talk politics now without degenerating into shouting matches. Thanks for starting the discussion.
For the record, I started sporadically checking this site around mid January.
I meant that the community as a whole has practiced enough and reached a certain standard of discourse.
