(It is probably more subtle than this - When make argument A against X, people listen just until they think they've matched your argument to some other argument B they've heard against X. The more often they've heard B, the faster they are to infer A = B.)

This problem is endemic in the affirmative atheism community. It's a sort of Imaginary Positions error.
