Dialogue and blog posts/essay format when I want to think about a particular topic but have no explicit goal in mind, regular verbal thoughts when I'm doing something cognitively challenging, fuzzy non-verbal and non-explicit concepts when I'm not thinking about anything in particular. Visual thought is something that I am capable of but only with conscious effort (eg. I can do those cube rotation tests just fine but I will convert everything to words if the problem allows it).
