What makes you think that? This is a closed source project - as I understand it - so nobody on the outside will have much of a clue about what is going on.
Maybe you believed the marketing materials. If so - oops!
If I had a secret project to gain power over the future of mankind, the last thing I would do is publish any sort of marketing materials, real or fake, that even hinted at the overall objective or methods of the project.
