Note that I wasn't aware of the concurrence of the Singularity Summit and my post at that time either. It all happened very quickly after some comments regarding the Roko incident. My post was actually a copy and past job from previous comments I haven't thought through much. I just thought at that time that the comments would be more fruitful as a top-level post, i.e. more answers. Until then I always restrained from posting anything on LW because I knew I lacked the smarts and patience to think things through. It was all because of the Roko incident really, but never put to be a serious attack towards LW or the SIAI. After all I still think this is the most awesome place on the web :-)

^Just some annotation because I've been mentioned in the OP. Again, sorry for any inconveniences, I'm just not thinking enough before talking, that is I'm not taking things too serious that should be taken serious. As I said before, I'm a donor and not a foe. Phew ;-)
