My mom is definitely better than doctors at telling what's wrong with me.

Last time I was wondering why I was a bit more tired than normal, she had figured out (and didn't tell me) that I was getting sick. Sure enough, a few hours later I felt sick and threw up. This kind of thing happens enough to know that she really can tell when something isn't quite right with me.

When I was a little kid, my parents had to stop feeding me red pancakes because it made me hyper. I'll see if they came to that conclusion without having previously heard of the hypothesis.
