Just as a sidenote: I remember reading somewhere that the "exerting willpower depletes glucose reserves in the brain" theory is bogus. It was proven that there is no change in glucose levels in the brain after exerting willpower.

Exerting willpower requires thought, which requires glucose. Your statement needs to contrast exerting willpower with some other mental activity.
