Cambridge Meetups Nov 7 and Nov 21

The formerly monthly Cambridge meetups are now twice-monthly! Same place and time - Clear Conscience Cafe, Sunday at 4pm - now on the first and third Sundays of each month, instead of just the third. That's November 7th and 21st.

It was suggested last time that we might want to try adding some structure to these events. I thought it'd be fun to try Paranoid Debating, so I'll bring trivia cards, as suggested by eugman. Other proposals - activities, conversation topics, etc - are welcome.

I'm looking at bus rides from NYC to Cambridge, so I may need someone to take me from wherever the bus dumps me off in Cambridge to where you guys are meeting.

Looking forward to seeing you! Most of the bus endpoints should be on the red line, so public transportation will probably get you all the way there. If not, post where you expect to be dropped off and we'll see if someone has a car nearby.

Okay, I've found a bus that will get me to South Station, and from there it looks like I just take a ten minute ride on the red line. So, count on me being there.

Looking forward to meeting the Cambridge crew!

It is about 10 minutes on the red line but there's an additional delay of 3-6 minutes or so for the red line to actually arrive at South Station. So 13-16 minutes is probably a better estimate. This will be more relevant on your return if you end up cutting the trip back to South Station at all close.

I left myself about an hour on both ends, so I should be alright. Are you going to be there?

I intend to be. I estimate a 90% chance that I'll be there.

Is this a local game, or are you going to add a way to let people in other locations contribute?

If your only proponents are local than you are not creating a global idea...
