While I do understand that right wing people are naturally the kind of people who bring about increased existential risks, I think my own occasional emails to left wing blogers aren't' that shabby (since that makes me a dirty commie enabler). In fact I email all sorts of blogers with questions and citations to papers they might be interested in.

How does one even estimate something like 0.0001% increase of existential risk out of something like sending an email to a blogger? The error bars on the thing are vast. All you are doing is putting up a giant sign with negative characteristics that will make people want to cooperate with you less.

There is a big mismatch here between "sending an email to a blogger" and "increase existential risk by one in a million". All of the strategies for achieving existential risk increases that large are either major felonies, or require abusing a political office as leverage. When you first made the threat, I got angry at you on the assumption that you realized this. But if all you're threatening to do is send emails, well, I guess that's your right.
