I just emailed a right-wing blogger some stuff that probably isn't good for the future. Not sure what the increase was, hopefully around 0.0001%.

Wow, that manages to signal a willingness to use unnecessarily risky tactics, malignancy AND marginal incompetence.

While I do understand that right wing people are naturally the kind of people who bring about increased existential risks, I think my own occasional emails to left wing blogers aren't' that shabby (since that makes me a dirty commie enabler). In fact I email all sorts of blogers with questions and citations to papers they might be interested in.

Muhahahaha.

How does one even estimate something like 0.0001% increase of existential risk out of something like sending an email to a blogger? The error bars on the thing are vast. All you are doing is putting up a giant sign with negative characteristics that will make people want to cooperate with you less.
