Project 1 is to make a brain decompiler, so that I run as a program rather than a simulation within a program. Brains are complicated, so it's likely that we will figure out how to approximate one as a physical object before we figure out how to actually understand one as a computational process. But I'll have plenty of time, and a virtual sandbox that present researchers don't.

Depending on my options, I might weaken some of my basic urges before I finish the project. Current psychology literature should be enough for a reversible procedure to do crude things like that.
