Am I really in the minority in not wanting political discussion on the site, at least without special precautions?

I do not consider this post to be political. It is practical look at how and when to update on evidence of orthodox opinion. It could not be more relevant.

I wholly agree that it's relevant, but I think that's compatible with it running afoul of politics as the mind-killer.
