Do you (pl.) think it would be valuable to have a discussion topic on whether political discussion could be fruitful (possibly with links to relevant discussions, etc.)?

(Not to say "take it elsewhere", but rather, "should we have this discussion somewhere it'll be easier to keep track of".)
