I endorse the quote this post objects to:

The objection to this "because the questions are a little too selfish" is outright scary to read. Chiefly because looking at ways to become more personally effective is not at all opposed to producing shared social value.

The only thing I like about this post is that it is currently downvoted to -4. I fairly consistently reject all claims of LW 'cultishness'. This post is essentially an admonishment to behave more like a cult of personality. Seeing it summarily rejected comes as a huge relief!
