er... bad epistomology, maps vs territories, invalidity of mysterious answers to mysterious questions, some bayesian stuff, reductionism, pure reason, categorization gone wrong...
Those are not techniques we can use to improve rationality or flaws in our understanding; at most, those are a few high-level manifestations of irrational thought.
