As an organizer who waited far too long to start organizing: DO IT NOW. The gains have continued to be disproportionately large and rapid for the time investment.
There is also the fact that i'm trying to start an Military Atheist,skeptics and Humanist group.
I think i wasn't clear. I knew people in ames that would be interested. I barely know anyone here that might be.
