What I've done for Newcomb problems is that I've precommitted to one boxing, but then I've paid a friend to follow me at all times. Just before I chose the boxes, he is to perform complicated neurosurgery to turn me into a two boxer. That way I maximize my gain.
That's clever, but of course it won't work. Omega can predict the outcome of neurosurgery.
Better wipe my memory of getting my friend to follow me then.
Also, I have built a second Omega, and given it to others. They are instructed to two box if 2 Omega predicts 1 Omega thinks they'll one box, and visa versa.
.. and that costs less than $1000?
