I want the world to be saved. If that means I have to do something about it, then I have to do something about it.
There's probably something you can do to make it a little more saved, or saved with a slightly higher probability. Does the expected payoff mean it's not worth looking into when compared to your other motivations?
It's much too important not to look into. But I think I need to become better and more powerful (which I am working on!) before I can really be of service.
