Thanks for doing this review. My "to read" list is so long I've stopped taking recommendations, but it's good to know that there are several "moral philosophers who don't totally suck" and that they wrote a book.
Can you shed some light on why you didn't read the last chapter?
Race is not among my research interests at this time, and my time is very limited.
