Quick ananlysis: * Main search terms are variants on empiricism and philosophy
News stories seem to use it positively in political contexts.
Interestingly there seem to be fairly consistent peaks and troughs in this, possibly correlating with academic year?
US geography shows high polarisation between states, don't know enough about US demographics to guess why, maybe universities?
