I think I would consider a charity saying "Give, it'll make you happy!" to be really suspicious...
There are more diplomatic ways of putting it. For example: "Help those in need, it'll make you happy, studies X, Y, and Z prove it. You can become happier by donating to a worthy charity, and we humbly suggest our own..."
nah -just sounds like even more weasel words... sorry.
