I'm a little confused - are you treating this as an April Fools joke, or do you really want to hear about whether castration is a worthwhile technique? (Although I'd think it'd be hard to reconcile with even embyronic versions of your 'Fun Theory'.)

What if you came to the conclusion that it (castration) would help you focus on The Thing That Shall Not Be Named and that it would thus increase your chances of success. What would you do?
