Hi! This sounds interesting, but I couldn't conveniently digest it. I would read it carefully if you added more signposts to tell me what I was about to hear, offered more concrete examples, and explained how I might behave or predict differently after understanding your post.

For whatever it's worth, I completely agree with you that utility functions are models that are meant to predict human behavior, and that we should all try making a few to model our own and each others' behavior from time to time. Dunno if any downvotes you're getting are on that or just on the length/difficulty of your thoughts.
