Maybe in the 50% case I would vote for the mass murder of all AI researchers but currently I don't know of any major political candidates with that in their platform. Other than that it seems like pretty useless information to me.

If you were willing to assert that AI researchers should be 'murdered', why would you limit yourself to the political process to that end? Why not start picking them off in various ways through your own direct actions? (Such as saving up enough money to put out hits on them all simultaneously, etc..)?

What I'm getting at is; why do you restrict what you believe to be "right and necessary" to a democratic process when you could take individual action to that end as well?
