Lukeprog, I noticed in your last two posts you've used a stock photo to represent the subject of the post. I may be different from everyone else, but despite the usefulness of this design choice, I associate it with probloggers or whatever you would call them. So, personally (and this is only personal taste), I would try to use them very sparingly. I hope you don't mind my suggestion.
You aren't the target audience for the stock photo, it's a random person seeing Less Wrong for the first time. People like pictures.
I felt I was quite humble in giving my opinion (or maybe just self-effacing). Still, I'm willing to logically concede the point.
Yes, you were, my slightly antagonistic tone was because there have been highly modded comments saying the same thing in several previous Lukeprog posts and I thought it was getting old.
Upvoted for owning up to things. I wish I had known someone else had made the same argument, or I wouldn't have posted anything. Thanks!
Yeah, and the texture in this picture makes my skin crawl. The pills look like growths or something.
