Aren't these just the pleasures of being in a group of likeminded people?
Possibly, but I think it's easier to get this with other rationalists than groups of other epistemologies. Several differences:
Other ways of thinking produce different conclusions with the same information, e.g. 2 people think the same way, but one's a Christian and one's a Muslim. So there isn't the benefit of Aumann agreement.
There are objective standards that all parties know everyone agrees on without prior discussion. Deviations from these can be noticed.
Rational people change their minds occasionally, which makes any discussion more pleasurable.
