I count a "confirmation" by the same group working with the same equipment as only a small amount of evidence. I will have to see confirmation by a separate experiment (perhaps something involving NuMI at Fermilab) before giving this result much more credibility.
Edit to add: MINOS is planning to make a measurement, although currently they are still preparing the detector. They saw a similar result, but at a much lower confidence level, several years ago.
