I was reading Dresden Codak, from there read some Kurzweil, then got into an Internet argument with User:ZackM.Davis who used to live across the hall with me in the dorms, in which he linked me to Eliezer's home page and OB around the time of the split. I followed link trails until I had read most of the sequences.
