Literally it seems to reduce to a tautological 'true'. One conceivable purpose of the question could be to establish whether the subject's abstract nodes for communicating about normative ideals are closely linked to slightly more direct normative judgments. It could filter out certain kinds of confusion.

My first reaction to reading the question and processing it like that was "What's up with that?" so I wrote the comment to ask others about it.

One conceivable purpose of the question could be to establish whether the subject's abstract nodes for communicating about normative ideals are closely linked to slightly more direct normative judgments. It could filter out certain kinds of confusion.
