a physical, approximate implementation of AIXI is likely to develop a reductionist world model, doubt that its decisions have any effect on reality, and begin behaving completely erratically.

A "reductionist world model"? Maybe it knows how to get science done.

Reductionist world model is defined formally here; it is just a world model in which A's actions are determined by normal physical law applied to A's execution, rather than being the product of a non-physical intervention. I don't understand your remark.

Reductionism is the basis of most science. Using it as a term of abuse makes little sense.
