I, too, like this post for it's value in pointing others to when trying to explain the value of rationality.

This has been discussed before, but linking to the Sequences and saying "read that" always feels like a dodge to me, so I find real value in this post.

It seems like part of what that lukeprog has to do is balance between the regular readers of this site and new(ish) readers of this site.
