I have my beta readers, I got a professional proofreader friend to look through Summons, and I traded a free signed copy of the dead tree for typesetting help. And it's all still mine and I can still do whatever I want with it (including Creative Commonsing the whole thing without having to have Cory Doctorow's clout).
