I've read through the sunk cost kata presentation linked in the second paragraph here and it seems pretty impressively useful, as well as being suited to the theme of 'practical rationality'. Also, if it helps Anna and Eliezer, and it does:
we're noticing that we often improve quite a lot ourselves in the course of coming up with 20 examples of the sunk cost fallacy. This suggests that the best of us have a lot to gain from practicing basic skills more systematically.
then I think it will help us.
To that end, I'm going to present the sunk cost kata presentation and we'll work through the worksheets. I expect it will take at most one hour.
You will need to bring some loose change. Around 20 cents will do.
