My reasons, roughly sorted with most severe at top:

  • Personal reasons which I don't want to disclose right now
  • Akrasia
  • Communities of like-minded people are either hard to find or hard to get into
  • Not knowing what I should be doing (relates to "communities")
  • Finding time (relates to "personal" and "akrasia")
