Cryonics already pattern matches to religion: we perform a ritual on the dead so that when our leaders have created a benevolent god it can resurrect them to live extremely long, extremely happy lives.

You want to make the pattern match central in cryonics marketing?

Every life is precious, according to EY/HJPEV, and most people currently alive are religious, so you have to speak their language to sell the message.

Dithering even for a second because of the misplaced qualms about the way you might come across is a crime against transhumanity.

Imitating the surface features of successful memes can be a cargo cult if you don't stop and think about why they're effective. Can you imagine how an actual religious person would react to that slogan?

I didn't realize I had to spell it out... People here seem to be so serious about certain topics. Well, semi-snarkastic, really.

This entire conversation reminds me of the sig quote from TvTropes/Slashdot:

On my deathbed I shall whisper the word: Instrumentality.
