Well, those copies, they are very very far away, and thus are more different from you than something nearby; it feels you are using the intuitions for things nearby, whose relative position is only a minuscule fraction of their total information content, for the things whose information content is entirely their position information. In principle we can recreate this conversation by iterating every value of every letter on a very powerful computer, but unless there's process for selecting this conversation out of the sea of nonsense, that won't constitute a backup.
