I get what you are saying but, be that as it may, knowing that there is still much to do and actually doing something about it are two completely different things. And whining may also prove to be counterproductive since it is often perceived to be annoying thus people are less likely to help or take you seriously.
Actually, most people who find whining annoying make every attempt to eliminate it. It can be counter-productive if the story it has to tell is perceived in an incorrect manner. You will do nothing if you do not know that there are things to do.
