I don't think I'm committed to the view of concepts that you're attacking. Concepts don't have to be some kind of neat things you can specify with necessary and sufficient conditions or anything. And TBH, I prefer to talk about languages. I don't think philosophy can get us out of any holes we didn't get ourselves into!

(FWIW, I do also reject the Quinean thesis that everything is continuous with science, which might be another part of your objection)
