Certainly humans should do things, but what if I want to play the flute now and only have flute-whittling down as my activity for century seventeen?

Well, what if you do? The whole point is that getting everything you want is not necessarily a proper utopia.

Sometimes - often - I just want people to tell me stuff.

Again, utopia does not necessarily consist of getting everything you want.

True, but if a Utopia isn't giving you what you want, it must at least give you something better. And I suspect that between two activities that you'll find fun, the one which you are desiring will feel more fun.

Sometimes - often - I just want people to tell me stuff.

Sometimes it can be fun to discover things for yourself, but I'd get irritated if I had to figure out everything for myself, much like I'd be irritated if I had to farm and cook and build for myself all the time. There may be a balance to be had, but I think it should be defined by desires. Perhaps I would actually have more fun trying to solve a problem than just having the answer told to me, but I can guarantee you that I would be very irritated if I was forced into spending time solving a problem I didn't want to solve; I value my freedom.
