I just read both posts and I feel as though they did an equal amount to enlighten me in the nature of Fun. I don't see any good reason to privilege the visibility of one over the other.

Eliezer's OvercomingBias contributions were taken as the seed posts for lesswrong years before 'Discussion' was in place. Taking one of the original posts and putting it in discussion would just be disruptive to the timeline.

Leaving the OB posts be isn't a moral judgement that Eliezer's off the cuff declarations of what is fun are better than Alicorns.

Heck, the style and tone are completely different. Alicorn really is just discussing Eliezer's post and writing things like "Aaaargh".
