Actually, I wouldn't be willing to hit my head with a hammer with probability 25% in order to go to the beach with probability 100% - epsilon, so the magnitude of the second utility ought to be much larger. YMMV.
ETA: Well, if you don't specify how hard I am supposed to hit myself, maybe I would. :-)
