I went 2-2 in the last MTGO Daily Event I entered, finishing out of the prizes.

I'd suggest reading some articles on mulliganing.
I'd also suggest reading some articles on deck construction. I'm betting this probably isn't your issue, but an occasional refresher on the basics can make a big difference.
I used to go 2-2 most events. Learning to mulligan put me at 3-1. I can't remember the last time I didn't claim prizes at an event. (The idea of "how does my deck win" and therefor knowing how I can win and how I can lose on any given turn helped a lot - especially in sealed, it has helped me go 4-0 with a card pool I would have considered hopeless)

So maybe we should celebrate failed attempts more often ... I for one can't think of anything I've failed at recently, which is probably a sign that I'm not trying enough new things.
So, what specific things have you failed at recently?
