That quote is really annoying because Jesus says the same thing way better, repeatedly, in the Sermon on the Mount.

No he didn't. You are wrong about either the religious teaching you advocate or the thing that is being advocated in the grandparent.

Eh. What irritates me is his implicit claim that the ideas there are original or exclusive to Jesus.
