Hm, could it be that the longer survey format this time around cut down on the number of responses as well?

The 2011 survey ran 33 days and collected 1090 responses. This year's survey ran 23 days and collected 1195 responses.

So, what "cut down on the number of responses"?

That means at most a 15% year on year growth rate, which is pretty abysmal compared to the 650% growth rate in two years we saw last time.

I presume that John's indended implication was that community growth was greater than indicated by the number of respondents.
